About Me

With over 10 years’ experience serving youth and young adults in the foster care system, I am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for growth and stability for those in need in our community. Beyond my employment experience in nonprofits, I also have volunteered extensively in Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) programs and in my children’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

I currently supervise the Independent Living Program at the Ron Wood Family Resource Center in Carson City, Nevada, where I lead a team of case managers who support foster youth across the state as they transition to independence and build the skills needed for long-term success. I am pursuing an MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with the goal of strengthening my leadership and business savvy to contribute further to the nonprofit sector throughout Northern and rural Nevada. My work and educational goals are centered on commitment to making a lasting difference and supporting a team environment where both staff and clients are empowered.
